Fabric Dyeing

I was able to make use of the dye facilities and utilise the skills I had recently developed in my Skills Passport classes to dye my calico fabric the colours I envisioned. I was initially aiming for shades of indigo, however I experimented with other colours and found that a deep purple provided contrast with the indigo I did create. For each colour I made my own formulation - turquoise, deep blue, and purple in different ratios to achieve both colours, then painted on the silver pattern by hand onto the purple fabric after drying.
